Psicomotricidad

In our class we have practiced balance, we have played to bowling and other activities.
We had a very great time.

Today we have walked through the number one. We have followed the correct directionality and we tried to don’t fall down.
Later we tried to make our own number one with the rope.

Before playing sports, we strech to prevent injuries. We had a great time playing with the ballon in our psychomotricity class.
We were hitting the ballon with our hand, we tried to walk with the ballon between our legs… and more activities.
We laughed a lot and we will repeat the experience.

We love the story about the very hungry caterpillar so that’s why today we have played in our psycomotricity class to the: “caterpillar’s race”. We had a great time playing together.

Teamwork is our greatest virtue!

Parachute play is a great way to promote teamwork and to get those large muscles moving.

Benefits of parachute play include:
-Encourages cooperation
-Strengthens upper torso
-Non-competitive
-Differing abilities are non-issue
-Refines perceptual skills
-Reinforces turn-taking/ sharing
-Develops a sense of rhythm
-Requires following directions
-Promotes social interaction

We had a great time building our own and secret cabin and with many more games!

IMAG0710Los alumnos de 2 años realizaron el juego de “El rollo interminable” que consiste en formar dos filas e ir pasando el rollo por encima de la cabeza sin caer al suelo ni soltarlo, esta  actividad requiere mucha  destreza fina, coordinación viso-motora, relación y comunicación entre los alumnos. Para finalizar, jugamos al clásico e importante juego de las sillas.

Postura del árbolSon innumerables los beneficios que proporciona la práctica del yoga a los niños: les ayuda a mejorar su autoestima y concentración, les proporciona tranquilidad y, en algunos casos, les permite corregir dolencias físicas congénitas o adquiridas.

El yoga se presenta para los niños como un juego donde cada “asana” (postura) tiene un pequeño cuento que los introduce con un personaje y una visualización de lo que se va a hacer, como por ejemplo: la postura del árbol, de la montaña y del guerrero.

Today in psychomotor class we have practiced balancing by playing a funny game. We had to walk straight without losing our weight bag. If the bag falls, you have to start again. But be careful because when someone tells us to, we have to stop quickly and stay still like a statue. We were so original!
